The ideal candidate will have experience with Construction Certified Payroll . This candidate will need to have great attention to detail and time management skills. This is a direct hire opportunity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • A/P, A/R, and Subcontractor Mgt.
  • Oversee A/P process (AP Clerk on staff)
  • Help process daily invoices as needed
  • Discuss issues with Vendors/Subs regarding their invoices and/or statements
  • Maintain W-9's and process 1099 annually
  • Perform Check Runs
  • Process all Field Sub invoices
  • Maintain subcontracts paperwork - lien releases/Insurance
  • Create Customer Invoices / Pay Apps
  • Notarize Pay Apps
  • Track receivables w/ spreadsheets
  • Help w/ Collections as needed
  • Process paperwork for new projects - Insurance certs, pre-liens, etc.
  • Assistance with Sales Tax Exclusions
  • Assistance with Certified PayrollQUALIFICATIONS
    • Construction Payroll Experience experience highly desirable
    • Previous construction accounting experience is a big plus.
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Ability to respond to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
    • Proven ability to proactively take initiative and resolve issuesPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
