Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for assisting the Facilities Supervisor and 2nd Shift Manager with maintenance of the facility, including distribution facilities, interior office areas, janitorial and assigned facilities projects. This is a Mon - Fri schedule with some Saturday work requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure that all office areas, as well as outside areas, parking lots, and yard are clean and neat, check to ensure office, break rooms and restrooms are cleaned.Assist in monitoring conveyor line during shift operations. Report issues at end of shift to Facilities Supervisor / Manager.Repair all issues that can be fixed upon discovery. For example -Band ReplacementFlat top beltsPhoto Eye adjustment andAny additional items as per trainingSet up and take down to support company events - includes lunches periodically.Complete and maintain documentation of all items on Daily Checklist.Complete all assigned projects as directed by Facilities Supervisor and or Manager.Prepare an End of Shift Report to advise what was accomplished as well as incomplete projects and other information such as parts needed / parts put into use.Report any safety/security concerns observed during your shift.Operate electric lifts, electric pallet jack, cardboard baler and steel strapping machine, as needed.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following credentials:High School diploma or equivalent.Experience working with and repairing mechanical issues on equipment such as conveyor belts and other distribution machinery.Equipment Certification for electric lifts, Electric Pallet Jack, Cardboard Bailers and Steel Strapping machines preferred.Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.Remains open to other's ideas and tries new things; Shares expertise with others; Gives and welcomes feedback; Applies feedback to improve performance; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Asks for and offers help when needed.Works with integrity and ethically.Adheres to 5.11 Policies and Procedures; Upholds organizational values.Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.Measures self against standard of excellence; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Reacts well under pressure; Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Treats people with respect and consideration.Meets productivity standards; Strives to increase productivity; Completes tasks correctly and on time; Uses time efficiently; Aligns work with strategic goals; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Displays orientation to profitabilityObserves safety and security procedures; Uses equipment and materials properly; Reports potentially unsafe conditions.Is consistently at work and on time; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.ETHOS:At 5.11 Tactical, everyone has the opportunity to be a leader and perform in an exceptional manner.
