Purchasing Manager in our dynamic Construction company, you will
play a pivotal role in the procurement of materials, services, and
equipment essential to our projects' success. This role is critical
to our business, as you will be responsible for managing vendor
relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the
quality of goods and services. You will work closely with our
project management team and other stakeholders to align procurement
activities with our business goals. Responsibilities:1. Develop,
lead, and execute purchasing strategies for construction
projects.2. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with
optimal terms.3. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce
expenses and improve effectiveness.4. Partner with stakeholders to
ensure clear requirements documentation.5. Forecast price and
market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier
power.6. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.7.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.8. Seek and partner with
reliable vendors and suppliers.9. Determine quantity and timing of
deliveries.10. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for
services and products.11. Implement and manage the company's ERP
system to streamline purchasing and inventory
management.Qualifications:1. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in
business administration, supply chain management, or a related
field.2. A minimum of 3+ years of procurement experience in the
construction industry.3. Solid knowledge and understanding of
procurement processes, policy, and systems.4. Proficient in vendor
management, with a track record of cultivating strong vendor
relationships.5. Experience with ERP systems and their
implementation.6. Proven track record in negotiation skills and the
ability to network and influence multiple stakeholders.7. Strong
critical thinking and problem-solving skills.8. Excellent team
management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.9.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written
and verbal.10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
