and women and children's services including neonatal intensive

preferred hospital' by local consumers. Responsibilities Under the
direction of a Registered Nurse, assesses patients chief
complaints. Re-assesses patients vital signs and physical exam to
assist in patient treatment. Works as a member of the patient care
team in conjunction with physicians, ancillary departments and
other staff members. Provides technical nursing care and
interventions to all patients presenting to Emergency Department.
This position requires providing service to one or more age
populations including ill, neonate through geriatric patient
population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the
functional/developmental age of the individual served. This
position requires the full understanding and active participation
in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that
the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and
the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
Qualifications Minimum: Current CA LVN License Current BLS, ACLS
and PALS is required If the employee does not have current ACLS and
PALS certification upon hire, the employee has 90 days from hire
date to become certified at the employee's own time and expense.
Graduate of an LVN School of Nursing Completion of a Basic EKG
Course (Critical Care) IV Therapy Certification Preferred: One year
