Job Description Licensed Vocational Nurse needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Carmichael, CA! Top Skills Should You Possess: - Experience working with Intellectual & Developmentally Disabled population in a community setting What You’ll Be Doing: - Coordinate services and care in a community-based program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities - Address the overall medical needs of assigned individuals - Perform nursing duties, including assessment, treatment, and follow-through resolution of health issues - Partner with individuals as they become self-sufficient and live everyday lives; help individuals find meaningful roles in their community and to feel valued as community members - Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm What You Need to Bring to the Table: - Active and unrestricted California LVN license - Degree from an accredited school of nursing - A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience is preferred - Experience working with Intellectual & Developmentally Disabled population in a community setting is preferred - Experience working with challenging behaviors/mental health issues preferred - Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities - Excellent organizational and prioritization skills What’s In It For You?
