Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3 years of RN Telemetry experience, 6 months travel experience License: Valid State RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Flexibility to float to different campuses or units as needed - Ability to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing Description: Telemetry RN needed for the day shift. The position requires a California RN license. The role demands BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Weekend availability is required every other week and as needed by the unit. Travel nurses must be flexible with floating to other units within the scope of practice. Travelers can expect a notice of 1.5 hours prior to shift start time in most cases. A shuttle is provided if floating is requested. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Background checks will be performed prior to employment. Nurses who have been away for one year or more must follow the return staff policy to return as travelers. Modules are non-billable, but average 1-5 hours may be spent on training during orientation.
