registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. A healthcare professional is needed to provide
dedicated nursing support for an elementary school student with
special health needs. This contract position, based in Union City,
NJ, will span the current school year (CSY) and requires working
closely alongside the student during school hours and
transportation. The role involves one-on-one nursing care for a
7-year-old child with cerebral palsy, who is wheelchair-bound and
experiences daily seizures. The nurse will be responsible for
accompanying the student on the school bus and offering medical
assistance throughout the day. Key Responsibilities: Provide
individualized nursing care to a student with cerebral palsy and
complex medical needs Monitor and manage daily seizures, ensuring
safety and prompt intervention Assist with mobility and positioning
in the wheelchair both at school and during transportation Ride the
school bus with the student to and from school, attending to any
medical needs en route Collaborate with educators and school staff
to support the students health plan Maintain accurate health
records and communicate any changes in condition Desired
Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid credentials Experience working
with pediatric patients who have complex medical conditions Ability
to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a school setting
Reliable transportation and ability to accompany the student during
bus rides Strong communication and documentation skills Schedule &
Location: Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Union City, New Jersey Contract duration: ASAP start through end of
school year (EOSY) This opportunity offers meaningful work

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.70 to $52.70.
