Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Vacaville, CA Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $3,401 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Vacaville, California, 95687! ? Shift Details Shift: Night Shift Shift Time: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM Shift Length: 12.5 hours Hours per Week: 36 hours Hours per Day: 12 hours Schedule Type: 3×12?hour shifts per week Primary Responsibilities Monitor labor progression, maternal vital signs, and fetal heart rate patterns. Assist with vaginal deliveries, C?sections, and operative births. Manage high?risk obstetric situations (e.g., preeclampsia, PPH, high?risk OB). Administer medications (oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, epidural meds, etc.) safely. Perform and interpret fetal monitoring per AWHONN standards. Provide immediate newborn assessment and support under NRP protocols. Document all assessments, interventions, and responses accurately. Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and NICU staff. Maintain compliance with Kaiser protocols, safety standards, and state regulations. Participate in emergency response situations and rapid decision?making. Requirements Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full?time L&D RN experience Required Licensure & Certifications Active RN License – State of California (or valid compact if accepted) BLS (Basic Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ACLS AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced required by most Kaiser sites) All certifications must be current and valid.
