Monitor Tech Location: Jackson, CA Agency: Diverse Lynx LLC Pay: $33 to $35 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/17/2026 About the Position Assignment Details Position: Telemetry Technician (Tele Tech) Local BR: Differs Role Summary: Tele Tech providing bedside care to patients, assisting with ADLs and delegated tasks under the supervision of the RN. Requirements Experience Required: At least 2 years Required Certifications: BLS, EKG Certification (CCT or CRAT) Highly Preferred: CNA Job Profile Summary Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), performs routine patient care, support, and services including accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms through continuous cardiac monitoring surveillance in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain cooperation from patients, families/support groups, and healthcare providers. Exercises sound judgment and developed clinical skills to support the patient?s plan of care. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety. Job Accountabilities Monitor Services Generates, reads, and interprets monitor strip print-outs based on patient rhythm changes. Communicates cardiac rhythm changes or dysrhythmias to appropriate healthcare team members per policy. Completes routine and priority tasks within established departmental time frames. Maintains equipment and understands procedures and treatments performed by physicians. Mentors students and new nursing professionals to foster skill development and confidence. Nursing Services Provides direct patient care under RN supervision. Performs selected procedures including vital signs, specimen collection, and admission/transfer/discharge processes. Provides basic patient care related to nutrition, elimination, hygiene, and mobility. Ensures completion of routine and priority tasks within departmental time frames. Maintains equipment and understands physician-performed procedures and treatments. Educates patients regarding examinations, tests, and procedures in a clear and professional manner. Mentors new nursing assistants (NA) to support skill and confidence development. Benefits Medical Insurance, 401K
