Summary

Responsible for correctly and efficiently performing technical procedures Quality Control and calibrations in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory; operating and maintaining instrumentation as assigned; taking steps necessary to ensure correct reports; performing clerical, phlebotomy, and analytical testing task as needed. Performs other duties as assigned and/or required.






Qualifications:
Education

Required: Associate's degree or equivalent experience; graduate of accredited school of medical laboratory technicians or equivalent. B.A./B.S. preferred.




Experience: 1 - 2 years as a medical laboratory technician preferred.




Certifications: Must be licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the State of California Department of Health Services within 6 months from date of hire.
