Sabio Hospitality Group (Sabio on Main, Crush'd Wine Bar & Kitchen,
Pivot Craft Kitchen & Bar) is looking for an experienced Cook to
join our flagship Michelin rated Sabio on Main kitchen! You will
work with Chef/Partner Francis Hogan and his tightly knit team
producing a constantly evolving, seasonally driven menu. We execute
an extremely seasonal menu featuring the incredible products our
farmers and ranchers provide us with. We open for dinner daily
offering both a la carte options as well as a curated chef's
tasting menu. We also offer weekend brunch on Saturdays and
Sundays, and Happy Hour on weekdays. To be successful in this role,
you are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences
through consistent, high-quality food. With previous experience as
a cook, you are able to manage multiple priorities and contribute
to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. We are a
collaborative kitchen and welcome input on the menu.
Responsibilities: Ensure quality of food and ingredients by
checking for freshness, keeping track of old and new items, and
rotating stock Assemble station Mise en Place and prepare assigned
dishes during service periods to the restaurant's standards Inspect
and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work
surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling
practices Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures
by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, fryers,
and smokers. Assist co-workers as needed to foster a team
environment Respond to guest and management feedback with
appropriate urgency and professionalism Qualifications: Previous
experience as a restaurant cook preferred ServeSafe or Food
Handlers certification (or must be willing to attain within 30 Days
of Employment) Effective communication skills Ability to lift 30
lbs Ability to work standing for 8 hours Compensation & Benefits:
