for a QA Test Engineer III to join our growing team in Mountain
View, CA United States! Project Starline is working on the next
wave of machine learning (AI) driven telecommunication devices,
that enable co-presence through 3D displays, face tracking, machine
learning, and multi-capture camera with cloud based rendering and
teleportation capabilities that transport users across the globe.
We are looking for those experienced with System Testing in SaaS,
Cloud or Unified Communications and/or video conferencing space.
Responsibilities: Create and manage test plans, test reports, and
workflow documentations. Improve existing software testing
processes and methodologies. Drive critical bugs to closure, to
quickly unblock releases. Qualifications: Excellent documentation,
communication, and interpersonal skills. Minimum 5 years’
experience in test planning and, test strategy development. Defect
Triage experience, create workflows and standards for managing and
routing defects. Proficient with Linux/CrOS CLI with hands-on
command-line experience. Proficient with defect tracking tools and
managing and driving defects to resolution. Can do attitude, team
work and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup
environment. BS in CS, EE or other equivalent preferred. Bonus
Qualifications: Knowledge of Python and/or Bash scripting is a
plus. Ability to develop, maintain and improve automated test
scripts. Cloud experience – testing cloud based applications or
SaaS environments. Experience working with test automation teams to
identify and prioritize test cases which can and should be
automated. Ability to organize and classify test execution
strategies for efficiency. Must Have: Perform manual tests on
complex systems, including user acceptance testing, regression
testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing. Execute
automated tests, debug test scripts and results, and clearly
document results and bug resolutions. Adept at troubleshooting
complex systems integration issues through log analysis. Work
closely with hardware/software engineer, product managers, program
managers, and UX to triage, analyze, reproduce, and resolve bugs.
