defense. We are seeking a Principal Software Integration Engineer
to join a cross-disciplinary team responsible for developing,
integrating, and testing software solutions for advanced radar
systems in the missile defense domain. This role focuses on
software/hardware integration, automated DevSecOps pipelines, test
infrastructure, and issue triage in embedded real-time
environments. What You Will Do: Integration and testing of
real-time, distributed C++ software systems across Linux-based
server platforms and radar sensor hardware Creating and maintaining
automated deployment, monitoring, and test pipelines for multiple
near-Ops environments simulating operational radar system use
Collaborating across multi-vendor and multi-disciplinary teams to
integrate and validate software releases from various upstream
teams Supporting full lifecycle integration including software
setup, test execution, regression analysis, and root cause
resolution Interfacing software components with RHEL9, FPGAs, and
sensor hardware. Contributing to the evolution of our DevOps
infrastructure via GitOps, using tools like Ansible, Gitlab, and
RobotFramework to enable automated test, build, and deploy
pipelines Performing profiling, debugging, monitoring, and System
Integrity tasks using Python, Matlab, and influxdb/Grafana control
towers Supporting or executing Functional Qualification Testing
(FQT) and System Verification and Validation Testing (V&V) What
You Will Learn: Integration and testing techniques for real-time
C++ developed software Packaging and managing distributed software
systems at scale Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience The ability
to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens
are eligible for a security clearance. Experience in software
integration/test of embedded or real-time systems Experience in C++
software development, integration, and debugging in Linux
environments. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with missile
defense systems, radar, C2 network testing, or DoD large-scale
systems Experience with hardware-software integration, including
radar systems or similar sensor platforms Experience creating and
maintaining automated DevSecOps infrastructure Experience with
network, performance, and system health monitoring Prior
participation in Performance/Longevity/Reliability Testing
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
considers several factors when extending an offer, including but
not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities,
a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and
