next phase of growth! About the role Pocus is powered by a custom
agentic AI platform that helps our customers ingest, transform, and
make sense of structured as well as semi-structured data that can
be public or private. This role is responsible for building product
features that enhance this platform. We process multiple many
gigabytes of data every day through AI powered agents and data
orchestration frameworks. What you’ll do Pocus’ infrastructure runs
on AWS. We use Typescript to develop code and communication happens
via GraphQL. We use technologies like Clickhouse, Presto, Temporal,
LLMs etc. and have a strong bias towards using managed services
wherever possible. In this role, you will Build an AI platform that
is scalable, reliable, and extensible: This platform forms the
basis of everything that our application is built on. At a very
high level, it includes: A data ingestion layer that supports data
extraction from various warehouses, databases, CRMs, public
datasets, crawlers, etc. A transformation and relevance engine that
enriches this data using LLM based reasoning and tools. A query
engine that lets you filter and aggregate these transformed
entities in milliseconds A workflow system that lets you act on
these results via 3rd party connections like Outreach, Slack etc.
or via web-hooks You will play a key role in making it
feature-rich, stable, and scalable. Have complete autonomy: Extreme

small team and we like to move really fast. We’re looking for
someone who: Has 3 years of experience building production-grade
distributed systems Has experience working with data-intensive
applications and systems Loves working in small groups with a
strong bias for action Is not afraid to jump across domains and
technology stacks when needed Has a knack for problem-solving and
thinking from first principles Holds a high bar for quality,
simplicity and takes pride in their work Regularly uses AI powered
tools like Cursor, Copilot, etc. to increase productivity
Compensation & Benefits This base salary for this role is $120,000
to $240,000. Compensation also includes equity and numerous perks
and benefits (listed below). Job level and actual compensation will
be decided based on factors including, but not limited to,
individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview
process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential
impact, and scope of role) and market demands. The listed range is
a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. Perks and
