Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure maintenance
service is scheduled with the customer and the technician is
provided all necessary parts to complete the service. This
important position facilitates the preparing, scheduling and
auditing of all units on P.M. agreement.
-- Clearly communicate dispatch information to the technicians.
-- Ensure that all routes are planned, scheduled and dispatched in
an efficient and compliant manner that satisfy the customer's
requests.
-- Ensure that all technicians are dispatched a full day's
work.
-- Assist technicians with problem solving to include but limited
to weather, routing, home time, equipment, parts, maintenance, van
maintenance scheduling.
-- Ensures good communication between all levels of the operations
department and acts with a cooperative attitude to help improve the
overall company.
-- Regularly updates customers equipment profiles in timely
fashion.
-- Answer Company phones to handle inquiries within the positions
knowledge base and authority, and refers other calls to an
appropriate company resource.

-- Education: Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: 4 year degree or relative work experience in Material
Handling Field/Dispatching
-- Must possess basic geography skills
-- Must display a great working knowledge of computers
-- Must have experience working with complex formulas in excel
-- 10 key by touch
-- Oral and written communication skills
-- English language skills
-- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
-- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
-- Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace,
follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate
safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate
administrator
Assigned Duties:
-- Schedule appointments with customers, obtain Purchase Orders
when customer requires
-- Relay special instructions to the scheduled technician
-- Schedule PM Technicians and email schedules by end of business
day prior
-- Order any special parts needed to perform services with Parts
Department
-- Review PM work in process on a weekly basis
-- Monitor technician work in process on weekly basis
-- Update Tracking workbook on daily basis
-- Add new units to scheduled maintenance when agreements are
submitted
-- Inquire with Parts Department any parts needed for new units
added to PM
-- Maintain CSS commission Report for PM sign ups
-- Forward appropriate agreements to UIO Administrator
-- Check hour meter readings on google drive monthly to determine
units due for PM on CM/FM accounts
-- Request hour meters from CSR if missing from google drive
-- Provide parts forecast to parts department
-- Arrange PM service on rental equipment in the field/shop
-- Assist in month end reporting
-- Fleet mileage update monthly
