Job Description:
US Foods, a premier leader in the foodservice industry, is
seeking a VP National Sales to oversee and expand our national
sales strategies across the United States. This role is pivotal in
shaping innovative sales tactics and driving the growth of 350,000
product distribution to approximately 300,000 restaurants and
foodservice operators. The successful candidate will utilize their
profound market expertise and robust leadership skills to harness a
high-performing sales team, optimize our operational sales
approaches, and ultimately, ensure our market position as one of
Americas top foodservice distributors. Formulate and implement
strategic national sales plans to align with company goals. Lead,
manage, and develop a national sales team to achieve sales targets
and expand customer base. Collaborate with marketing and product
teams to develop new product positioning strategies. Monitor
competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies as
needed. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer
relationships. Drive operational excellence and efficiency within
the sales department. Report directly to the C-Level executives
with timely and accurate sales forecasts. Proven leadership and
team management skills Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities Deep
understanding of the food and beverage market and distribution
channels Capability to design and implement comprehensive sales
